Teaching the 12 students at the CSHL Drosophila Neurobiology: Genes, Circuits, & Behavior course how to track flies that are intoxicated or receiving ellipsoid body stimulation was incredibly exciting. Some enterprising students also tried it on fireflies and we can't wait to reproduce those results :)!
