Congrats Lewis!

Congratulations to postdoc Dr. Lewis Sherer who was just awarded the Carney Institute's Judith and Jean Pape Adams Postdoctoral Award. Lewis will be adding a new facet to his work focusing on how cotransmission of octopamine and glutamate in the Drosophila brain change with age, by looking at how alleles commonly associated with neurodegenerative disorders, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), impact cotransmission. We are very excited to see where this new direction takes you Lewis!
