Karla travelled to Lisbon, Portugal to teach in the CAJAL Advanced Neuroscience Training Quantitative Approaches to Behavior and Virtual Reality course held at the Champalimuad Center for the Unknown June 8-10, 2024. The course, directed by Ben di Bivort, Ann Kennedy, Giorgio Gilestro and Daniel McNamee, covers a broad range of practical approaches for understanding behavior and attracts excellent students from all over the world. Karla spoke about quantitative approaches used to understand responses to natural and alcohol reward.
