Karla, Tariq, Nelson and Kristin all attended the annual 2022 Society for Neuroscience meeting in San Diego November 12-16. This year featured two fly talks on the starting lineup by Dr. Amita Seghal on sleep and Dr. Scott Waddell on memory. The week started with a breakfast at Richard Walker's Pancake House with IBANGS members, Karla had 2 minutes of fame while she introduced Dr. Scott Waddell for his Special Lecture Monday morning. Tariq and Nelson did fantastic jobs presenting their posters and received great feedback and ideas for their projects. It was amazing running into colleagues and friends and talking science. The science of the next generation is inspirational and we are all so excited for the next few years.
