The Kaun Lab had two posters at the 2026 Brown University Summer Research Symposium on August 6, 2026. Summer Research Program Undergraduates Sam Filatov and Rubaiya Rahman did a fantastic job of presenting their poster exploring the resurgence of eugenic language in the media (including social media). Similarly, summer high school interns Zachary Sheinberg and Aryana Azanchi did a fantastic job presenting their work (conducted with summer intern Paige Irving) on sex differences in acute locomotor responses to different doses of alcohol in wild-type and white mutant flies.
