There are three new job opportunities in the Kaun Lab!
We are hiring a full-time research technician to aid in performing Behavioral Neurogenetics experiments to support research on the neural and molecular basis of reward and addiction using a Drosophila melanogaster model. This is an ideal position for someone graduating this Spring and interested in applying their programming skills to fun behavioral tracking problems for a year (or two). Please read more about the position and apply here.
We are also hiring two full time Brown undergraduate students for the summer to perform experiments identifying how the high-potency synthetic opioid fentanyl affects behavioral features in Drosophila, and to assist in understanding the neural and molecular basis of these behavior changes. Please read more about these positions and apply here.
Please contact Dr. Karla Kaun with any questions about these opportunities!
