Congratulations to postdoctoral associate Dr. Lewis Sherer for being awarded a two-year fellow position on the Brown University Center for the Biology of Aging Training Program in the Molecular Biology of Aging from the National Institute of Aging!
Training Program in the Molecular Biology of Aging focuses on training the next generation of scientists engaged in interdisciplinary research to discover and implement therapies that alleviate the suffering caused by age-associated degenerative processes.
Lewis will be working on understanding how aging influences cotransmission in the brain in the context of natural and alcohol/drug-induced behavior.
